TASAWUF SOSIAL DAN SOLUSI KRISIS MORAL

Abstract

During the 20th century, a combination of the unprecedented
challenges-secularized authoritarian state structures, a
Western-inspired rationalist discourse and Islamic
fundamentalist critique since the second half of the 19th
century-led to a decline in traditional forms of Sufism. The
reconstruction of Sufism teachings which is relevant to the
times is a necessity. The changing times have an impact on the
values that led to a moral crisis. Although this century is
known as the victory for the religion, that able to provide an
answer to the crisis of modern man, but it is not in the form
of deeds, which tend formalitistic. That need is the spiritual,
giving peace and tranquility of spiritual aridity, and also peace
of mind. That can be found in Sufism. However, that has
transformed the paradigm, which is not only a spiritual
dimension, however, a social one, or called Social Sufism.
