Abstract
Interpersonal communication is the communication
that takes place between people who are
interdependent and have some knowledge of each
other. It includes what takes place between a son and
his father, a teacher and a student, two friends, and so
on. Interpersonal communication is often extended to
include small intimate groups such as the family.
Through this interpersonal communication, parents in
Way Huwi Village can build character teenagers,
established effective communication and meaningful,
and it is able to achieve the goal of fostering moral
behavior in teenagers. Muslims parents build teenagers
good behavior through communication process: the
stages of the message, which can affect teenagers'
behavior. The parents perceived who has a certain
credibility which trusted by the teenagers. Through
interpersonal communication, Muslim parents find a
way to build their teenagers character.
