REKRUTMEN CALON ANGGOTA DPRD PARTAI GOLKAR DI KABUPATEN MAJALENGKA MENJELANG PEMILU 2024
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the recruitment process for Golkar Party DPRD Member Candidates in Majalengka Regency ahead of the 2024 Election. In the recruitment process for Golkar Majalengka DPRD Member Candidates in the previous election there was still minimal socialization of recruitment, lack of transparency and the quota for Golkar Party DPRD Member Candidates was not fulfilled in several electoral districts (Dapil) of Majalengka Regency in 2019.
The method used in this study is qualitative using a descriptive approach. In collecting data, researchers used primary data, namely by conducting interviews and using secondary data through literature or literature studies and documents. Determination of informants in this study using a purposive technique. In analyzing the data, the researcher uses analytical techniques according to Miles and Huberman, which include data collection, data reduction, data display, conclusion; drawing/verification. In validating the data, source triangulation and triangulation methods are used by checking data obtained from various sources. The concept used in this study is the recruitment concept according to Pippa Norris.
The results of the study show that in the process of recruiting candidates for the Golkar Party DPRD members in Majalengka Regency ahead of the 2024 Election which includes candidacy and selectorate, there is still a lack of socialization and lack of transparency in recruitment to the public, there is political pragmatism that leads to the necessity of every candidate have political capital or costs, the location of the selection is easily accessible to the general public in several processes and the rest is closed, as well as the process of making decisions or determinations that are carried out behind closed doors. Based on this, the researcher concludes that the recruitment process tends to be closed, because in the process it leads to a closed recruitment pattern.
